Already since the foundation of PressFile Europe GmbH in 2009, Florian Fischer (42) was responsible for the sales of the PR software PressFile and was the central contact person for all customers. In March, he has now joined the management of PressFile Europe GmbH. In the future, he will be responsible for the company’s operating business. The company’s founder, Uwe Pagel (59), will remain Managing Director, but intends to focus more on strategic alignment in the future. “Florian Fischer knows our PR software like no other. He has also ensured that we are consistently geared to the needs of our customers: Anyone who has a problem gets an answer and the solution immediately, as quickly as possible,” explains Uwe Pagel. The handover of tasks will take place gradually over the coming months. “In doing so, we have also initiated a generational change that will secure the future of our company,” emphasizes Uwe Pagel.

Florian Fischer, a trained communications electronics technician, started his career in customer support for a manufacturer of EC and credit card terminals, where he was responsible for both first and second level support. In 2007, he joined climate protection specialist ClimatePartner as a consultant. From 2009 on, he accompanied the development of PressFile Europe GmbH, which today is one of the leading providers of PR software in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Users of the solution, which was originally developed for the New York Public Library, include the press departments of companies such as Rossmann Drogeriemärkte, Trianel, Ziehl-Abegg and Dr. Babor. But also numerous PR agencies of very different sizes use the cloud-based PR software PressFile for their distribution, contact, dispatch and clipping management.
