First US customer relies on web-based solution from PressFile Europe<\/h2>\n

With the J. Paul Getty Trust, a first US user now relies on the web-based version of the PR software PressFile. PressFile will initially be introduced for press relations at Getty Publications, the publishing subsidiary of the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles. The foundation also owns, among other things, the J. Paul Getty Museum, located not far from Beverly Hills, the largest art museum in the world. Here the donor has collected about 50,000 works of art and made them available to the general public free of charge.<\/p>\n

Getty Publications specializes in high-quality art books and is responsible for the documentation of the Getty Museum. Many of the works are also accessible online as part of a virtual library(http:\/\/www.getty.edu)<\/a>. PressFile has been marketed in the U.S. exclusively in the FileMaker version. Users include renowned companies and institutions such as the New York Public Library, Harvard University Press and Time Inc.<\/p>\n

“We are of course particularly pleased that with the J. Paul Getty Trust, an institution with an exceptionally high reputation worldwide is relying on PressFile. We are also honored that a U.S. foundation relies on a cloud solution hosted in Germany,” says PressFile Managing Director Uwe Pagel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After this successful “re-” entry into the American market, he expects that other institutions and companies will soon follow the J. Paul Getty Trust.<\/p>\n
