Press work, newsletter campaigns, a separate magazine as well as moderations and events: The spectrum of the Neu-Ulm PR agency K-media & PR is extremely diverse. For the agency boss Thomas Kießling, it is therefore important to make everyday processes as simple as possible. "The address and contact management, which we had implemented on the basis of Excel, was particularly tedious. That's why I was looking for a solution that would help us more efficiently," he says. He found what he was looking for in the neighborhood on the other bank of the Danube in Ulm. There, colleagues from other PR agencies have been working with the PR software PressFile for some time and warmly recommended this solution to him.
Quickly and easily introduced
"PressFile convinced me at the first presentation. Because the operation is intuitive. Even if you don't work with this PR software every day, you'll find your way around immediately," says Thomas Kießling. The introduction was also easy. "The database was set up in a few days and the PressFile team also took over the import of my contact details, so that I was able to work immediately after the first training.",
At K-media & PR, a focus in the area of press relations is the association PR. His clients include, for example, the Chamber of Crafts Ulm, the Chamber of Commerce Schwaben, Südwestmetall or the Neu-Ulmer Club der Industrie.
Association PR and e-bike press work
In addition, the PR agency has been and is always active for manufacturers of e-bikes and mopeds, such as the Upper Swabian company FEDDZ or the Swedish e-bike manufacturer Walleräng. Two French manufacturers are currently in talks. "After I had also talked to these customers about address and contact management, the question quickly arose as to whether newsletters could also be sent via PressFile," says Thomas Kießling. The target group here was a total of 1,400 bike dealers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, whose addresses were imported into PressFile by the PressFile team as their own distributor. "The implementation was then very easy, because we also use the contents of the press work for the design of the newsletters, which was well received by the bicycle dealers," says Kießling.
Volunteering and publishing
In the meantime, he also uses PressFile for address management as part of his voluntary activities, where he is involved, among other things, as head of fencing at TSV Neu-Ulm and as district fencer. And he is thinking about using PressFile for his publishing activities as well. Together with his partners Annika and Rüdiger Gramsch, he publishes a whole series of magazines in the Göppinger Maitis Media GbR. This includes his own project, the regional business magazine "BuV – Business and Marketing and Culture" as well as some special interest titles, among them the magazines "Stauferkrone", "albeins", "Grünzeit" or "Life Paths". "The beauty of PressFile is that it is very easy to organize and train these very different types of contact without confusing you or complicating address management. You simply send the address to the PressFile team, and you can start shortly afterwards," says Kießling, satisfied with the support he has recommended several times.
